Made to measure A crucial requirement for a trekking shoe is a great fit. And that’s why we make it to measure. Your determined foot measurements influence the shape of the lasts, on which the shoe upper is formed to provide the perfect shape. The result is a shoe which fits like a glove.
Trekking sole We offer a variety of sole types and tread patterns on our model Cross to suit your needs. We use special rubber compounds that can provide the right amount of grip for cross country excursions or for walking on asphalt. Our hand cut midsole and cushioning wedge offer the highest comfort at each step.
Waterproof membrane To protect against wet feet, we use a special membrane in each Vitallo Cross between the upper and lining leathers. At a certain stage within the manufacturing process, before upper and midsole are sewn together by hand, each shoe is subjected to a special twelve-hour water tight test. No Vitallo Cross leaves our manufactory without passing this test.
Climatocork interior Our custom-made, breathable Climatocork-interior keeps your feet cool in hot weather and warm in low temperatures. It is a perfect match for outdoor boots where one can be exposed to a wide range of different climatic conditions. Climatocork is the only advanced interior that automatically regulates the shoes interior climate.
